I strive to create intellectually engaging work that holds the audience’s attention by being beautiful and symbolistic, in order to challenge them to find meaning within it. I believe that work can be beautiful without being shallow, and that beauty can act as a vehicle for the promotion of information and ideas. I place value in discovery, of slowing the audience down. I find purpose in negating our culture of immediacy.
